Course Description
Flow Stretch
In Flow Stretch decompress 2, therapists will learn an advanced full-body mobility sequence that blends clinical precision with athletic performance principles. You will master:
• Thomas-Test Stretch Sequencing: How to position clients in a modified Thomas-test setup to access and open the psoas, rectus femoris, the deep 6 rotors, and the anterolateral fascial chain using multi-vector stretches
• Dynamic Spinal Wave Decompression: A fluid spinal mobilization series that restores segmental motion, rib expansion, and global spinal fluidity.
• Supine Neck Traction & Axial Decompression: How to apply safe, effective cervical traction, combined with lower-body counter-traction to decompress the entire spine and hips
• Long-Lever Fascial Decompression of the: Techniques to lengthen and release the QL, lats, obliques, and lateral fascia using leverage, traction, and long-lever stretching techniques
• Integrated Flow Sequencing: learn a powerful, full-body Flow Stretch session that takes 45 minutes, which elevates client outcomes, mobility, and recovery.

Why You Should Attend
Flow Stretch decompress 2 is designed for therapists who want to elevate their skill set beyond traditional stretching methods. This class is ideal if you want to:
• Differentiate yourself with unique, high-value techniques not taught in standard massage or stretching courses.
• Offer deeper, longer-lasting results by targeting the body’s major fascial chains and decompression pathways.
• Improve your biomechanics and longevity by learning leverage-based techniques that reduce strain and increase efficiency.
• Work effectively with active clients and athletes who need rapid mobility changes, spinal decompression, and global fascial release.
• Add a premium service to your practice—Flow Stretch decompress 2 can easily become a signature offering that commands higher rates.
• Expand on Flow Stretch 1 and continue building the Flow Stretch system into a full, repeatable, client-centered methodology.
If you want to deliver sessions that feel powerful, fluid, and clinically meaningful—and that clients rave about—this class is for you.
Learning Objectives
This 2-day pain posture performance class will teach you how to build a thriving Massage practice using Pain Posture Performance's Flow Stretch 2 assisted stretching protocols. Upon completion of Flow Stretch decompress 2, students will be able to:

1. Apply Advanced Stretching from the Thomas-Test Position
-
Safely position clients and release the psoas, rectus femoris, and anterior fascial chains.
-
Identify pelvic/lumbar compensations and adapt techniques accordingly.

2. Perform Dynamic Spinal Wave Decompression
-
Guide clients through controlled spinal mobility waves that improve segmental motion, breath mechanics, and autonomic down-regulation.
-
Use rhythm, oscillation, and sequencing to decompress the thoracic spine.

3. Execute Supine Neck Traction and Lower-Body Counter-Traction
-
Apply towel-based cervical traction safely through multiple angles and ranges.
-
Combine upper-body traction with leg traction to decompress the lumbar spine and reduce global tension.
-
Students will learn to apply targeted stretching techniques for the upper trapezius and levator scapulae using towel-assisted leverage, enabling precise multi-directional lengthening, improved cervical movement, and effective reduction of upper-quadrant tension.

4. Perform Long-Lever Fascial Decompression of the Lateral Body
-
Use leverage, traction, and multi-planar pulling techniques to release the QL, lats, obliques, and lateral fascia.
-
Adjust pressure, angle, and pacing to suit different body types and mobility levels.

5. Integrate All Components into a Cohesive Flow Stretch 2 decompress sessions
-
Develop a structured 45-minute protocol that utilizes the full sequence.
-
Transition smoothly between positions to maintain flow, client comfort, and therapeutic continuity.
-
Adapt the full sequence for athletes, general clients, or those with chronic mobility restrictions.
-
