Course Description
Flow Stretch

This hands-on live class will teach you how to build a thriving Massage practice using Pain Posture Performances Flow Stretch assisted stretching protocols. 

You will explore the use of Range of Motion, Vibratory harmonic release, Passive Stretching and Joint traction techniques that blend seamlessly into your therapy sessions or as a standalone therapeutic session. 

During the theoretical introduction, the physiology, and biomechanics of arthrokinematics will be discussed, along with the fundamental mobility and stability needs of the human body. These theories will be specifically related to massage therapy and structural bodywork.

This class is divided up into multiple sections. You will learn an array of prone, supine, and side-lying techniques. Students will also learn how use optimal body mechanics and leverage to perform the taught techniques in the most optimal way for their body type and the body type of the client. 

Throughout the class we will be utilizing Range of Motion, Vibratory harmonic release, Passive Stretching, and Joint traction techniques.

The protocols are based on the work of Jandas upper and lower crossed syndrome, the Tensegrity model, and the functional movement systems.

The goal of this class is to teach you a full body assisted stretching routine the address the most common compensation patterns. 

This class is based on the human biomechanics and movement patterns, this 90% hands on workshop will upgrade your skills and elevate your clients to a new level range of motion and flexibility!

Learning Objectives

In this 2-day pain posture performance class will teach you how to build a thriving Massage practice using Pain Posture Performance's Flow Stretching assisted stretching protocols.​

  • Rotator cuff of the shoulder

  • Rotators of the Hip

  • Anterior chain of the hip

  • Restoring length in the Anterior hip capsule and musculature

  • Mobilizing the scapula Pecs and Subscapularis

  • Decompress and distract the hip and shoulder joints.
